[[File:Dominia_Flag.png|thumb|The Imperial standard of House Keeser, intended to represent three nation states of old Moroz that formed the basis of the Empire of Dominia.]]
To maintain a firm grip over its extensive— though still quite small, by the standards of the greater Orion Spur – colonial holdings, the Empire of Dominia has maintained a Council of Imperial Governors since 2385. Originally established when the annexation of the former territory of the Confederated States of Fisanduh to the Empire greatly increased the administrative complexity of the young Empire, it was initially intended to create a unified command structure under the watchful eye of the Emperor that bridged gaps between the military governments in Fisanduh and the civilian governments spanning the rest of Moroz. In the intervening decades, the Council of Imperial Governors has grown increasingly more complicated as the Empire has become an interstellar power in its own right.
The nearly-undisputed masters of the Empire of Dominia are none other than the members of House Keeser, its royal family and the former ruling family of the Imperial Alliance — one of the two entities which willingly made up the Empire at its founding. The head of House Keeser is the autocratic ruler of the entire Empire, and the family is said to have the blessing of the Goddess — Our Lady of Moroz — to rule. The royal family is revered and loved by many in the Empire and is a unifying force for its people and society, with Emperor Boleslaw himself viewed as second only to the Goddess in terms of import to most Dominian citizens. It is unthinkable for many in the Empire to imagine a future without a Keeser ruling over it.

The modern Council consists of the governor, or viceroy, of every planet administered by the Empire with the exception of Fisanduh and the Imperial capital planet of Moroz. Fisanduh contributes both its civilian and military governor, while Moroz has no representative due to being administered on a planetary scale by the Emperor himself. The primary purpose of the Council remains to ensure that the wider Empire beyond Moroz is functioning properly while remaining loyal to the Emperor, and it meets twice per Morozian month to ensure this. While the council and its members answer to the Chief Commissioner for Colonial Affairs in their day-to-day operations, the Council answers directly to the Emperor himself during their bimonthly meetings, and he is well-known for the intense interest in colonial affairs in recent years. But the Emperor is an increasingly old and infirm man, and most meetings during the past few years have had another member of the royal family attending: Crown Princess Priscilla Keeser, the heir-apparent to the Empire’s throne.
==History==

What the crown princess intends to do with the Council of Governors and the colonial holdings of the Empire of Dominia when she inevitably ascends to the throne following her father’s passing into the realm of the Goddess remains to be seen. Change under a new ruler is inevitable, but to what extent she will go in her changes remains known only to the crown princess herself and the all-knowing Goddess.
The Keeser family has its roots in Landing Site Ofassel, where they were the leaders of the  colonial expedition and, over time, became the monarchs of it through clever political maneuvering and strategic dominance of the colony’s resources. Eventually, they would turn the colony into the Imperial Alliance: a militaristic and monarchist society dominated by House Keeser and their close allies, and former colony security staff, House Strelitz. The family was quick to adopt Tribunalism when it first arrived in the Imperial Alliance and secured an alliance with the Holy Kingdom through declaring the Caladius and Zhao families houses of their own, effectively uniting both proto-states into an early version of the Empire.

==The Governors==
The family, under King Theodore Keeser, would begin a brutal war in 2355 against the Confederated States of Fisanduh to unify Moroz under their leadership, and this War of Moroz would end in an Imperial victory in 2384 under the leadership of King Godwin Keeser — the first Emperor of Dominia. The war to unite Moroz had turned the Imperial Alliance from a single planet to a multi-system empire and had brought it into distant contact with the Solarian Alliance, which regarded it as little more than a distant curiosity. By the time Godwin died in 2437 the Empire had expanded greatly, adding much of the modern Imperial Frontier to its control and establishing itself as a regional power equal to the Republic of Elyra.

===Imperial Territory of Fisanduh===
Having reigned since 2437, Emperor Boleslaw’s rulership has seen more troubles than that of his father. Fisanduh, subjugated by Emperor Godwin, remains a troubled area, and the Coalition of Colonies has repeatedly interfered in its rivalry with the Republic of Elyra while the Alliance has looked on with nothing more than curiosity. Already old when he took the throne, Emperor Boleslaw has long been of ill health and could not be genetically treated as his children were. As the Emperor grows sicker it seems his children, particularly Crown Princess Priscilla, may soon become the next ruler of House Keeser and the Empire

Imperial-occupied Fisanduh is an unusual place for governorship. Nominally, it is the only place where the governor of an Imperial territory is elected by its citizens— a concession offered by the Emperor himself in an attempt to quiet rebellions in the province— but, as with much of Fisanduh, the situation on the ground is much murkier, with the Imperial Army arguably controlling the entire province despite the Emperor’s concessions.
==The Royal Family==

What does it mean to be the sole elected governor in an absolute monarchy, where none else with the same power has even the shadow of an electorate to answer to? For '''Territorial Prime Minister Elard Tarlev''', current head of Imperial-occupied Fisanduh, to be Fisanduh’s elected leader is to exist in an endless quagmire from which there is no obvious release. Born in Outer Fisanduh in 2404, well after the end of the War of Moroz, Tarlev made a career for himself in the vestigial remains of the Confederated States’ bureaucracy that the Empire now used to rule over the province, where he proved himself a talented, if unremarkable, administrator that steadily rose through the bureaucratic ranks. A realist, Tarlev has long been supportive of the Empire’s occupation of Fisanduh— a position that has won him few allies in Inner Fisanduh— for practical reasons: without the Empire, Outer Fisanduh would never be able to recover from the scars of war.
===Boleslaw Keeser===

His support of Imperial investment in Fisanduh allowed him to carry enough votes to win a campaign for Territorial PM, which he has held since 2452. His position in Fisanduh is not an enviable one: the resistance groups view him as a Quisling loyal to the Empire, Morozian settlers constantly make more demands of his administration, and the Imperial Army operates with near impunity despite his administration’s protests. Tarlev has been largely adrift in this sea for over a decade, desperately in search of some solution to the myriad problems facing Outer Fisanduh. He, and many in his government, believe that there may be no solution until the Emperor abdicates, a date that Tarlev, now nearly sixty, hopes that he will remain for.
'''Date of Birth: 17 December 2405'''

===Imperial Army Mandate of Fisanduh===
His Imperial Majesty Emperor Boleslaw Keeser the First is the absolute ruler of the Empire of Dominia, and has seen its continued success under his reign. However some wonder if he truly lives up to the legacy of his dearly departed father, Emperor Godwin Keeser — United of Moroz, Savior of Novi Jadran and Sun Reach, Hammerer of the Pirate Lords, and Emperor of Dominia. He has invested greatly in improving the infrastructure and lives of Morozians at the cost of the less influential Imperial Frontier, and is popular amongst the masses and the nobility as a symbol of unity for the Empire. The Emperor has also seen the Empire through the phoron crisis and the aftermath of the Solarian Collapse, which saw the Imperial Fleet encountering far more piracy in the Badlands and Sparring Sea — an issue which brought it closer to the Solarian Alliance through informal anti-piracy treaties with Solarian actors in the Southern Reaches.

While Fisanduh is de jure ruled by Tarlev’s and his civilian government, the de facto reality is that the Imperial Army is often the region’s true power. Its highest-ranking officer in Outer Fisanduh is '''Governor-General Theresia Sophie von Schulthais-Aichhalden''', a longtime affiliate of House Strelitz. Regarded by the High Lord General of His Majesty's Imperial Army as a natural choice to lead the Imperial Army in Fisanduh, the Governor-General’s entire life has been in uniform. Born to a military family in 2422, Theresia was raised on stories of heroism during the War of Moroz and has since served across the Empire’s colonial territories, where she has gained a reputation as an aggressive commander eager to force insurgents into open engagements. The peculiarities of Fisanduh’s situation are a challenge to be overcome rather than a status quo to be endured, an attitude which has brought her and the Imperial Army into conflict with Tarlev’s civilian administration and gendarmerie.
But the Emperor is not a young man and is not geneboosted as the Crown Princess is. Time has not been kind to him and he, sickly from birth, had found himself increasingly ill as the 2460s have continued. This has caused the Crown Princess and the Imperial Cabinet to slowly assume more and more responsibilities during his increasingly frequent bouts of ill health where he is cared for by the Empress, Lei Keeser. Many believe he will not survive until the end of the decade, and it is common for those in the Empire to pray for his health and longevity. But prayer can only go so far and the Empire nervously awaits when the Emperor shall pass into the arms of Our Lady of Moroz, leaving the Empire to Crown Princess Priscilla — who the Emperor is said to disfavor over his only son, Crown Prince Alexander, despite Priscilla’s status as the heir apparent.

Despite the objections of Tarlev’s civilian government, von Schulthais-Aichhalden’s forces operate more or less independently of the local government’s oversight in their crusade against the region’s guerillas, and instead, they answer to the Emperor and the Imperial Army’s central command. While her assignment is hardly an easy one, the Governor-General firmly believes that the Goddess led her to it for a reason. To her, to even consider the possibility of failure, or that a more diplomatic approach may be needed, is to waver in her unshakable faith in the Goddess and the Emperor— and that, she cannot endure.

===Imperial Mandate of Zhurong===
'''Date of Birth: 22 November 2406'''

To those familiar with the Empire and the internal politics of its great houses, particularly in regards to its navy, it should come as no surprise that House Zhao was granted the governorship of the industrial heartland where the Empire’s mighty navy is forged: Zhurong. The task of managing Zhurong’s rich mineral veins and many orbital shipyards has been given to one of House Zhao’s most qualified: '''Admiral-Governor Lanying Zhao''', a twenty-year veteran of His Imperial Majesty’s Fleet and member of the prestigious Order of the Golden Albatros. Many speculate that Lanying was awarded Zhurong’s governorship due to her experience and longstanding friendship with Grand Admiral Huiling Zhao, a fellow member of the Order and current leader of His Imperial Majesty’s Fleet.
The Empress of Dominia, Lei Keeser is a well-loved figure throughout the Empire and beyond — for her charitable work. A medical doctor by training one of the most prominent followers of the Scholar aspect of the Goddess, the Empress is deeply involved in her husband’s efforts to improve the lives of Morozians. Her charity extends to trusted Ma’zal populations within the Empire and she is well-regarded by many for her efforts to lighten the Mo’ri’zal on citizens from the Imperial Frontier. A large statue of her helping a Ma’zal out of his chains is featured in front of the Holy Cathedral of Our Lady the Goddess, the largest Tribunal church on Moroz. She is also the founder of the Empire’s largest contemporary fencing society, Her Majesty Empress Lei's Royal Fencing Society.

Born on Moroz in 2418 to a family who has served in His Imperial Majesty’s Fleet for as long as such an institution has existed, Lanying was always destined to serve the throne and the Goddess in the void between worlds. Following her education in House Zhao’s naval academies, she entered His Imperial Majesty’s Fleet and began a career of distinction, fighting in many of the Empire’s early conquests surrounding Moroz proper and rising through the ranks rapidly due to a keen mind well-suited for logistics on a grand scale. Along the way, of course, she would encounter and befriend Huiling Zhao, the future Grand Admiral, a massive boon for any flag officer’s career. This long and venerable career of service means that, compared to many of her counterparts, Lanying’s tenure as governor began fairly recently by only formally starting in mid 2460, when the governorship was handed over from her predecessor (also a member of House Zhao) to herself.
But behind this public face lies a woman with deep experience in the intricacies of Imperial politics who is not afraid to dirty her hands by proxy if it is for the good of the Empire — and for House Keeser. Lei is rumored to often visit the office of Alojzia Molnarova, Director of His Majesty's Imperial Intelligence Directorate, for unknown purposes. The Empress is closest to Crown Princess Priscilla and is a major force behind her eldest daughter’s status as the heir apparent to the throne.

This relative lack of experience has often troubled the naval officer’s attempts to command her new “ship,” though she has gained enough experience over four years with her current station to achieve some level of mastery with it. But despite the challenge she has overcome to master this position, she cannot help but find herself bored of it after scarcely four years of service. Despite her widespread reputation as a master of logistics, the Admiral has ever been a woman most at home— most comfortable, perhaps, on the field of battle, and feels herself chafing under the crown of governorship. How long she will serve as governor for the Emperor and Empire— more importantly, her longtime friend— remains to be seen. For now, Lanying remains the ever-steadfast custodian of the Empire’s industrial core world and its stations.

===Imperial Mandate of Alterim Obrirava===
'''Date of Birth: 13 May 2429'''

The riches of Alterim Obrirava — primarily its Helium-3 reserves — demand close attention and a responsible custodianship in order to ensure that His Majesty’s Fleet always stands ready to fight and to conquer. Thus it is only fitting that the Emperor in his wisdom granted House Caladius the position of governor for the Empire’s primary refinery, even at the objections of House Zhao. Governor Alphonse Caladius has walked a difficult balancing act between House Caladius and House Zhao since his appointment by the Consul-Elector of his House in 2455. Alphonse was, to the higher-ranking members of the meritocratic House Caladius, an ideal candidate for the job: he had experience in the Helium-3 industry, was known as a tough negotiator, and was also willing to defer to the ever-present spectre of the Holy Tribunal that calls House Caladius its home.
The heir apparent of the Empire and eldest daughter of the Emperor and Empress, Priscilla Keeser is one of the most powerful figures in the modern Empire. She is poised, elegant, a prominent scholar of the natural sciences who holds a doctorate in biochemistry, and one of the highest-ranked fencers in the Empire in addition to being a polyglot who understands High Morozi, Vulgar Morozi, Tau Ceti Basic, Elyran Standard, and commands a passing grasp of Freespeak she uses to surprise Coalitioners. The crown princess has been extensively geneboosted and towers over other humans at over two meters tall, surpassing even other Primaries, with a gaunt frame. Priscilla is known to prefer more masculine dress and is typically seen clad in long greatcoats in the style of the Imperial Army, which she is a great advocate of, designed to accentuate her imposing height.

In his years as governor Alphonse has done an admirable job of balancing the interests of Houses Zhao and Caladius until very recently. With the phoron crisis deepening across the civilised Spur, the demand for Alterim Obrirava’s primary export has increased dramatically. The selling of Helium-3 by local companies, which are often owned in part by House Caladius, has brought the planet immense wealth over the past year. Yet the prosperity brought to his planet by its entry into the interstellar market has brought his rulership under more intense scrutiny from House Zhao, which looks poorly upon the selling of Alterim Obrirava’s Helium-3 — which the Zhaos view as vital to continued naval operations — to non-Dominian powers. Attempts by the governor to limit exports have in turn brought the ire of local businesses and his superiors in House Zhao, both of which benefit from the further selling of Helium-3 and stand to lose from pro-Zhao restrictions on the export of gasses. To many outside observers Alphonse seems to many to be a man trapped in an unwinnable situation, despite his reputation for tough negotiations. Only time will tell if his negotiations with both Houses will see him through or if his governorship will be ended by them.
The crown princess draws much of her support from the Imperial Army and House Strelitz — who have long issued her an adjutant, Elfriede von Sinzendorf, who is at Priscilla’s side at nearly every moment. Her connections to the Imperial Army have made her into an advocate for the Empire’s Ma’zals, who make up much of its lower ranks and do a great deal of its fighting and dying. This advocacy has seen her tour the Imperial Frontier many times and she is known to possess an estate on Novi Jadran staffed solely by Army veterans and their families — individuals who are paid more than most on the world and who are unfailingly loyal to the crown princess. The crown princess frequently meets with High Lord General Dorothea-Frieda Strelitz and the head of the Army’s Special Operations Group, Angelika-Lina Strelitz. Her interests have taken her abroad to view the Tau Ceti Armed Forces as part of the Empire’s diplomatic mission to the Republic of Biesel, along with von Sinzendorf.

===Tribunalist Mandate of Alterim Balteulis===
Priscilla is known throughout the Empire as more liberal than her father, and frequently has spats with Prince Alexander over policy and matters of the military. While never occurring in public the arguments between the two are rumored, if one is to believe the bar gossip of Nova Luxembourg, to become very heated, featuring long screaming matches between the two siblings which are only silenced by the intervention of the Empress herself. Empress Lei favors Priscilla and has provided her daughter with extensive amounts of training, and information from Director Molnarova, regarding the great houses and other notable families of the Empire. While she has never indicated so in public the Crown Princess is rumored to have the ability to destroy any noble family’s reputation in a day, and some whisper that those nobles declared synthetics are almost always opposed to her goals.

From the day she was born it was clear that the Goddess, in Her boundless wisdom, had special plans for '''Governor Victoire Caladius''', the long-serving ruler of the holiest planet in the Empire: Alterim Balteulis. In contrast to House Caladius’ other governing responsibility – Alterium Obrirava – Victoire’s duties scarcely involve material concerns such as economics or resource extraction, instead focusing upon issues closer to the Goddess and Her divinity: managing pilgrims, balancing the relationship between humans and the unathi minority, and ensuring that the Holy Tribunal’s local structures remain aligned with the will of the Goddess and the Emperor alike. To the Emperor the final of these three concerns has always been the most pressing, as the clergy of Alterim Balteulis is more powerful than any other planetary branch of the Moroz Holy Tribunal. House Caladius – particularly its more conservative branch – viewed Victoire, herself a longstanding resident of Alterim Balteulis and a member of the clergy, to be the perfect candidate and somebody easily capable of ensuring the Empire’s will would be felt in the temples and convents of the planet.
As the Emperor grows more and more ill in his old age Crown Princess Priscilla is undoubtedly the heir apparent, and is indeed officially such per his majesty. But her younger brother has not ceased his attempts to gain influence for his conservative allies, and her younger sister is both fickle and influential over the Fleet — meaning she must be swayed to Priscilla’s side to prevent significant headaches once she is crowned Empress.

Born in 2395 on Alterim Balteulis itself to a family with close connections to the Holy Tribunal, Victoire has served both throne and altar faithfully for her entire life – including nearly twenty years as governor of her birth planet. In these two decades as governor – one of the longest continuous terms of service for any governor in the Empire – the planet has seen untold millions of pilgrims come and go, and the establishment of one of the Empire’s largest unathi populations thanks to its well-suited climate. She has, much to the pleasure of the Emperor, navigated the political climate of the planet’s clergy quite well, equally balancing their concerns against those of the Emperor and always – above all other concerns – ensuring that the powerful clergy of the planet remain loyal to both the Emperor and the Goddess. While her governorship will never bring her the immense profits or battlefield accolades that some of her counterparts seek, she is nevertheless content. To Victorie the most fulfilling thing in one’s life is to serve the Goddess in all that one does, and serve Her she shall – no matter what challenges present themselves.
===Alexander Keeser===

===Imperial Viceroyality of Sun Reach===
'''Date of Birth: 23 November 2431'''

The challenge of governing one of the Empire’s most recent additions and securing its Helium-3 reserves is a task, in the eyes of the Emperor, that is best-suited to House Strelitz and their longstanding martial tradition. The Imperial colony of Sun Reach is thus ruled over by the iron-handed fist of '''Viceroy-General Hermann Gaufrid-Meinrad Strelitz''', High Lord General Strelitz’s hand-picked choice to rule over the military mandate that rules the recently-conquered planet. Like his counterpart in Fisanduh, the Governor-General’s entire life has been spent in uniform. Born in 2390, the Governor-General’s career spans everything from the mountains of Fisanduh during the Fisanduh Freedom Front’s insurgency to invasions of many “uncivilised” frontier worlds similar to his current station. Above all else, he has a reputation for harshness and is utterly unwilling to tolerate dissent from the “frontier savages” that he has often been tasked with ruling over until a less martial governor – generally a Caladius – is brought in once the Imperial Army declares the situation stable. Punishment for dissent is harsh under his monocled eye, with executions – generally by firing squad – not uncommon.
The middle child of the family, Alexander is both doted on by his father due to being the only son and frustrated by how distant the Empire's throne seems from him. Though as poised and elegant as his sister is, Alexander has always preferred more martial pursuits over Priscilla’s favoring of the sciences and philosophy. He is regarded as perhaps the single-best fencer in the contemporary Empire, an adept pilot, and serves as the honorary commander of the Royal Morozian Regiment — though its true commander is a noble of House Strelitz. Alexander has been extensively geneboosted and is as tall as his sister, though his frame is less gaunt than hers. He often wears the uniform of a Commander of the Imperial Flying Corps — his most favored branch of the military. He is one of the only contemporary holders of the Royal Fencing Award with Diamond Oak Leaves and Crossed Swords, an exceedingly high honour within the Royal Fencing Society.

His rule of Sun Reach over the past three years has been no less harsh than his usual military administrations, and the Viceroy-General has leaned heavily upon his occupying forces as the primary instrument of his will. The local administration of Sun Reach that was in place prior to the Imperial Army’s resounding victory over the planet’s military in 2460 has been swept aside and nearly completely replaced by Imperial Army staff, as the Viceroy-General views the typical frontiersmen as unfit to rule – they simply lack the pedigree of the Empire’s nobility and the Goddess-granted fortune of its talented commoners, and are – in his eyes – fit for naught more than simple tasks such as manual labor. This approach has won him no friends in the local population, but his weapons of war – and the Ma’zals that fight and die to carry out his orders – have all but ensured the inevitable victory of the Empire over Sun Reach. It is, in the eyes of the Governor-General, only a matter of time until the will of these frontiersmen is broken, and the planet submits to the wisdom of the Empire.
While unlikely to ascend to the throne Alexander has long enjoyed the support of the more conservative elements of the Imperial nobility, and is a great patron of the Imperial Flying Corps who often pays social calls to its Chief Commissioner, Annaliese Strelitz. Perhaps unsurprisingly Alexander’s adjutant is a fellow pilot, Yusheng Zhao of the Imperial Fleet. Alexander is known to not be overly fond of Yusheng, who was selected by the Empress to aid him, and more favors Régis Caladius, a Commander of the Imperial Flying Corps who the prince often discusses aviation innovations with — and who is favored by the Corps themselves.

===Imperial Mandate of Novi Jadran===
Alexander holds a dim view of the Empire’s non-Morozians and is often brought into conflict with his sister over this view. The bickering of the royal siblings is the subject of much gossip in Nova Luxembourg and across Moroz, but many are worried it will continue after Priscilla becomes Empress. A divided cabinet, after all, would only truly serve Elyra.

The task of ruling the Empire’s model colony, Novi Jadran, has long been regarded as something best suited for the local nobles of the planet. Those that become governors elsewhere – such as those belonging to Houses Zhao or Strelitz – are often more inclined to seek fame elsewhere, away from a planet that has been a loyal subject of Moroz for nigh on five decades that only suffers from intractable-yet-inglorious problems such as land distribution and electrical infrastructure. Pleasant to visit, but to rule? To most Primaries, never. Not so to '''Governor-Marchioness Anastazija Glavan''', a retired Imperial Army officer from a venerable Jadranic noble family.
===Hai Keeser===

Born shortly after Novi Jadran joined the Empire, into the wealth and privilege that comes with a noble pedigree, the young Anastazija spent much of her childhood in an estate on the outskirts of Nova Rijeka – the planetary capital – as she was trained in the art of war in order to represent House Glavan in the Imperial Army. She served with distinction as the Empire – bolstered by its fleet and its plentiful Helium-3 reserves – steadily marched outwards from Moroz, bringing more and more systems and worlds under the watchful eyes of both the Emperor and the Goddess as they did so. But all adventures must one day come to an end, and Colonel Glavan’s was no different. An injury to her leg sustained in 2454 left her unable to lead from the front as she once had, and she was certainly destined for an early retirement and a pension due to her maiming. Yet fate – or perhaps the Goddess – saw fit to bless her with fortune: the commander of her army – a man of House Strelitz – knew that the then-governor of Novi Jadran, Anastazija’s home, intended to retire. As a decorated Imperial Army veteran and a local noble, his former Colonel was the perfect fit for the position. His recommendation was accepted, and the newly-minted Marchioness Glavan was granted the position of Governor of Novi Jadran in 2455.
'''Date of Birth: 05 March 2338'''

Unfortunately for the Marchioness, the following nine years have been nothing but dreadful. A life in the military has left her well-prepared for the battlefield, but ill-adjusted for the ballrooms and general pomp-and-circumstance of Novi Jadran’s nobility and their associated celebrations. Her inability to control her local nobles – often at the expense of her common subjects – has left her increasingly unpopular amongst many groups. She is disliked by the common folk of Novi Jadran for her inability to grant them even basic succors seen throughout the rest of the Empire, her fellow Jadranic nobles view her as boorish and crude, and rumors have it that even Crown Princess Priscilla Keeser heir apparent to the throne – plans to have her sacked.
The youngest of the royal siblings, Hai Keeser is often more a naval officer than a royal child and is most regularly found accompanying Grand Admiral Zhao. Poised and elegant, if somewhat prone to impish behavior at the expense of her siblings, Hai is third in line for the throne and significantly less concerned about it than her older siblings. To her, the Imperial Fleet is a much greater concern, and she is often found on Zhurong or on the bridge of the HIMFS Moroz alongside some of the Fleet’s highest-ranking officers. While geneboosted like her siblings Hai is not nearly as tall at roughly six feet in height, and is rumored to hold some bitterness towards her taller siblings regarding this.

While she is unbothered by the line of succession Hai’s support is valuable for her older siblings due to her influence in the Imperial Fleet and connections to House Zhao, the masters of the Fleet and much of the Empire’s machinery of war. Uninterested in politics and in the bickering of liberals and conservatives within the Imperial nobility, Hai has long been aligned to Priscilla but has — perhaps due to the influence of House Zhao and the conservatives of the Fleet — taken a more conservative stance than her older sister. While not as conservative as her older brother Hai’s stances regarding Ma’zals are more traditional than those of her sister, reflecting the attitudes of the Imperial Fleet. Despite this she is a great patron of the Empire’s non-great House nobility, and is frequently seen upon Zhurong meeting with the minor houses which run much of the Empire’s military industry. Her adjutant, Nobuko Kaneko, is one of these minor nobles and is next in line to become Countess Kaneko once her father, Count Yoichi Kaneko, passes into the arms of the Goddess.

Hai holds a positive relationship with both her mother and father, but has grown more distant from them in her adulthood as she has spent more and more time on patrols with the Imperial Fleet or conducting business upon Zhurong. This is a rumor to greatly grieve her mother and father, and may have had a role in pushing them towards Priscilla and Alexander respectively.

==Adjutants of the Royal Family==

===Elfriede von Sinzendorf===

The adjutant of Crown Princess Priscilla and a minor noble from a family affiliated with House Strelitz, von Sinzendorf has spent most of her twenty-eight years of life alongside Priscilla. She is an accomplished duelist and known through the Empire for often serving as the public face of the crown princess during interviews and conferences. Wherever Priscilla travels, von Sinzendorf is alongside her and ready to provide whatever may be required — though she is rumored to be an utterly dreadful cook. Due to accompanying Priscilla wherever she travels von Sinzendorf is a minor celebrity in some niche circles of Mendell City’s gossip magazines, where her prominent High Morozi accent and omnipresent Royal Morozian Regiment officer’s uniform is both adored and mocked.

Despite her somewhat comical reputation in these magazines von Sinzendorf has always been steadfast in her loyalty to Priscilla and is the Crown Princess’ most trusted friend. There is little reason to doubt that von Sinzendorf would do anything Priscilla ordered her to do — even if it would result in her own demise.

===Régis Caladius===

A gifted pilot and duelist, Régis Caladius is not the de jure adjutant of Prince Alexander — this title belongs to Sir Yusheng Zhao — but is a close confidant of the royal. Régis is known as a daring and pioneering aviator throughout the Empire but has only recently become acquainted with the prince, with many suspecting he has been hand-picked by conservatives within the Empire’s nobility to represent their interests. Regardless of his intent, Régis is viewed by the prince as a close friend and one of the few duelists capable of holding his own against him. To Yusheng, Priscilla, and the Empress he is regarded as a bothersome individual who has meddled in the relationship between Prince Alexander and his actual adjutant.

Despite this troublesome reputation Régis has continued to serve at Alexander’s behest, and will likely remain until Priscilla ascends to the throne as the current Emperor has shown no interest in removing his favored child’s chosen aide.

===Nobuko Kaneko===

The adjutant, and close friend, of Hai Keeser and the heir to House Kaneko’s estate, Nobuko is a gifted engineer who is the same age as the youngest royal child. While von Sinzendorf serves as a bodyguard and Régis serves as a political operative, Nobuko and Hai’s relationship is the closest to conventional friendship, though she does advise the princess on matters of industry and advocates for House Zhao’s interests. Nobuko and Hai have known each other since they were very young, and the young heiress was selected to be Hai’s adjutant before both were ten years of age. Over the intervening years Nobuko has become an impressive engineer in her own regard while Hai has pursued more naval studies, but this friendship has not waned.

While a close friend of Princess Hai, Lady Kaneko has her own interests which she vouches for and whispers to the princess. Many of these interests are those of House Zhao, but some belong solely to House Kaneko — though these are always presented as mural interests of Houses Zhao and Kaneko.

Her most dangerous opponent, according to many, is an unlikely figure: a commoner of Novi Jadran by the name of '''Edvard Posavac''', a member of the Royal Diplomatic Corps and associate of the crown princess. Mister Posavac, as he is known across Novi Jadran, is everything that the Marchioness is not: he is a commoner, a native of the model colony, and has never served in the Imperial military. Where she is Marchioness due to her birth and the whims of nobility, Posavac draws his power from another source: his charisma, which he has honed to work with both his fellow Jadranic citizens of the Empire and the foreign nobles that often visit it. Even Crown Princess Priscilla is known to be a friendly acquaintance of Mister Posavac, a fact that has given the Marchioness many sleepless nights in the governor’s mansion. As she lies besieged on all sides, perhaps it shall be the infamous charisma of Posavac that strikes the killing blow. And maybe, if the rhetoric of the crown princess is to be believed, he may have his chance to secure the governorship.

The Imperial standard of House Keeser, intended to represent three nation states of old Moroz that formed the basis of the Empire of Dominia.

History

The Royal Family

Boleslaw Keeser

Date of Birth: 17 December 2405

Lei Keeser

Date of Birth: 22 November 2406

The Empress of Dominia, Lei Keeser is a well-loved figure throughout the Empire — and beyond — for her charitable work.

Priscilla Keeser

Date of Birth: 13 May 2429

Alexander Keeser

Date of Birth: 23 November 2431

Hai Keeser

Date of Birth: 05 March 2338

Adjutants of the Royal Family

Elfriede von Sinzendorf

Régis Caladius

Nobuko Kaneko
