| Skrell who find themselves born outside the Federation will not have access to the same levels of education when compared to their Jargon counterparts. However, private Skrell boarding schools are made to mimic those of the Federations in most areas where there is a major Skrell population. These schools follow the same structure as Scuttle Schooling, Reef Gardens, and Depth Colleges; often being called the same thing. In areas where Skrell boarding schools are not an option, the quya will often teach the child themselves until they are at a proficiency level similar to that of a Reef Garden graduate. Human schooling is not conducive to Skrell and will not enable them to learn to the same levels as an individual that is taught by Skrell. Due to this Skrell cannot attend a human school and would need to attend a proper Depth College if they wish to pursue higher education.
