Emerging from the fires of the Contact War in 2439, Si'akh has spread across the Wasteland in underground cults and by the proselytizing fires of its priests. It is led by charismatic former Sk'akh priest Juzida Si'akh, who claims to be the Messiah for Unathi. Si’akh is a radical Sk'akh heresy that claims the Contact War to have been final judgment for the Unathi species caused by their innate wickedness. He claims all Unathi that died in the "cleansing fire" of the atomic weapons were given salvation, and all Unathi that survived are damned to remain trapped in the Chained Wastes for eternity unless the species and Moghes are rapidly purified by converting and repenting for their sins. The movement is believed to have hundreds of thousands followers, and it has come into immediate conflict with the orthodox Sk'akh church due to Si'akh claiming it to be completely illegitimate with the revelation of the Contact War. Its followers were ruthlessly hunted down by the Maraziite Order and the troops of Izweski nobles. Despite the bereavement that came with the Order’s expulsion, the nobility of the Hegemony continue to strike at Si’akh congregations in their lands. Many of its followers in Izweski territory are fleeing into human space as they try to find personal salvation as a result. It is treated as a heresy and fanatical doomsday cult by orthodox Unathi.

[[File:Siakh.png|thumbnail|Portrait of Juzida Si'akh in the middle of a firebrand sermon, circa 2457.]]
Born Juzida Aizahi, Juzida Si'akh was born in 2409 and was rather unassuming as a priest— at least, he was rumored to be— until the Contact War brought nuclear devastation to his village. Si'akh was the sole survivor in his village after a nearby nuclear blast flattened the entire area. He emerged to the blasted hellscape and saw Sk'akh in a distant mushroom cloud, who spoke to him and gave him divine inspiration, declaring him the Final Prophet: the messiah and last hope for Unathi. Since that day, he has been a firebrand preacher, traveling the Wasteland and giving incredibly intense and passionate sermons. He claims to have a direct connection with Sk'akh which gives him supernatural powers. He claims he can bring salvation to Unathi with a simple touch. He traverses the Wasteland wearing simple robes, typically with nothing but his walking stick and his journal. He is an extremely charismatic leader and has spawned a cult of personality around himself. His formal title is the Final High Prophet Born of the Purifying Flames.

The popular and unofficial symbol of Si’akh is fire of any variety, be it commonplace flames burning something down, atomic fires wreaking havoc, or depictions of the Chained Wastes. The official symbol Si’akh and his clergy uses is a circle with a triangle inside of it, with the circle being on fire. This represents the Sk’akh origins Si’akh comes from, but also shows how Unathi are trapped in a circle of reincarnation until they can prove themselves to Sk’akh— and Si’akh. This will be sewn into clothes as the traditional means of display, yet it is not uncommon for final acts for Si’akh worshipers before dying to use their blood (if possible) to draw the symbol of Si’akh on any nearby surface, as if asking for one last blessing from the Final Prophet before testing their chances of making it to paradise.

=== Fire Priests ===
'''Editors : RustingWithYou'''
The church organization is decentralized due to its nature as a radical heresy constantly hunted by the established Sk'akh Church. However, beneath Juzida are his Speakers of the Purifying Flames, or Fire Priests, that spread his message across the Wasteland. Named in reference to both the cleansing fire of the atomic weapons that swept across Moghes, it is also in reference to the firebrand sermons given by their messiah. Fire Priests tend to be former Sk'akh priests that embraced Juzida's radical messages. However, in the past, Juzida decreed that anyone with a determination to spread the message can become a Fire Priest, but it is a rite of passage to first come before him and recite all of his sermons from memory.

=== Doctrines of Note ===
17/12/2465
The primary, overriding belief of Si'akh is that the nuclear conflict of the Contact war was Judgement Day and that all Unathi that live after it are Damned. They believe that upon death their soul is unable to join Sk'akh, instead doomed to reincarnate forever across the galaxy for their sins of defiling Moghes. The only method of achieving salvation is through being personally forgiven by Si'akh or by following his doctrines and gaining enough favor with Sk'akh to be forgiven after death and join the ancestors. Si'akh believes that evil and selfish behavior transform the souls of Unathi into literal demons who then perform evil on the world. Fighting back against one's innate wickedness is the primary goal of all Si'akh.

Like the traditional Church, Si'akh believe that the soul is the true individual, and that the body is a vessel. However, the relationship between the vessel and the soul is given a radically different relationship. The body and soul both fight temptation and the influences of daemonic forces. They also believe that the soul was in the past instilled within a vessel during its development within the egg by the Great Spirit, but with the Damnation facing the species, all unborn are instilled with the reincarnated souls of the Sinta barred from joining the Great Spirit in death.
The Prophet Judiza Si'akh begins to gather his followers in the Wasteland, with thousands of Si'akh faithful flocking to his call.
<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

The second primary belief of the faith is that Juzida Si'akh is the Messiah. Sk'akh has personally bestowed upon Juzida the objective of helping the Unathi species find redemption. His followers accept him to be an immortal with supernatural powers. If he is successful, Sk'akh will then rule Moghes as a literal heavenly paradise for 10,000 years. The faith generally considers that finding redemption means converting more people to Si’akh. As such, it is not uncommon for Fire Priests to venture into the stars in search of Unathi, particularly in the Republic of Biesel. Many degenerates flee there in the eyes of Si’akh, such as the Aut’akh, various dishonored groups, Guwan, and other Unathi that need salvation. These people, according to the Final High Prophet, are fleeing Moghes in shame of the deeds of their ancestors, or are attempting to avoid the consequences of the species as a collective.
Yu’zath armsmen were ordered to investigate a large migration of Si’akh Sinta leaving Res’karum this past Wednesday. They followed the most recent migrants out of the city, only to witness the migrants meet up with a much larger group reportedly numbering in the hundreds. Sinta Articles has dispatched senior wasteland correspondent Szek Ren’zsar to Res’karum in order to meet with Lord Yu’zath. While Lord Yu’zath himself was unable to be reached for comment, Master of Rivers Junz Yu’zath gave Ren’zsar this response:

Si'akh are forbidden from eating anything but raw food and drinking anything but water. This is to purify the soul and train followers in self-restraint. It is said that, due to this extreme diet, some Unathi abroad have sometimes starved to death if the circumstances are right (such as being stuck with nothing but jerky or other prepared meats). However, later proclamations from the Final High Prophet have allowed people to eat liquid rations and other bare minimum foods, claiming that they are as pure as raw meat.
''“With the departure of many of Mudki’s heretical refugees, we are confident that Res’karum will return to its roots. Th’akh teachings have been a staple of Res’karum for as long as Sinta have lived in these mountains, and we will not be swayed by heretical beliefs.”''

Repenting within the faith means to resist temptation and live a life according to asceticism: to live meagerly and not give into the temptation of luxury and overindulgence. Frugality and simplicity are words to live by; tailoring plain clothes, eating simple food, and keeping honest hobbies and work will set you along the path for salvation. Of course, practicing ritualistic obedience to Si’akh’s teachings puts someone along this path and makes it easier to do. Good works also absolve Unathi of their past sins, and it is said that someone who does enough works and follow the tenets of the faith will be overcome in a feeling of "righteous fire."
All this comes to a head as the anti-Si’akh sentiment reaches an all-time high in the city. Lord Yu’zath has always been a strong anchor point of Th’akh worship, especially in the wasteland. His refusal to falter in the face of a strong Si’akh presence in his city is an honorable act. However, this seems to bode poorly for Res’karum, as hundreds of Si’akh workers flock out of the city to follow whatever plan this Judiza Si’akh has. One Miners’ Guild foreman in the city complained to Ren’zsar, stating that:

Si’akh believes inherent wickedness comes with money and opulence, and as such, he opposes the idea of nobility sitting above the rest of Unathi as rulers and kings. Owing in part to why the Hegemony so vehemently opposes this religion, Si’akh has been known to inspire small revolts where he has traveled to— and those in charge fear what may happen in their own lands should Si’akh take root amongst the masses.
''“Half my workers seem to have run off following this damned fool Si’akh. Azhal’s crown, have they all taken leave of their senses? Some Wasteland vagrant waves a staff around, and they act like the man is some kind of prophet. Winds take them all, how am I meant to fill my quotas now?”''

Like all Unathi religions, followers are taught that even aliens  have souls that go to their respective afterlives and greet their gods upon death. Unathi are given the unique curse of being banished entirely until they can find redemption, however.
The Si’akhists continue to leave the city, wandering into the Wasteland. Where they are going, or what this so-called prophet has planned, remains unclear to us at this time. The other lords of the region seem to be less concerned about it, with Lord Korhar of Bahard’s High Speaker informing us that:

Si'akh demands strict burial rights in the form of a body being cremated. Anyone that knew the Unathi that passed is expected to attend the cremation and beg for the soul to be forgiven by Sk'akh, expressing all the good the person did in life in order to curry favor with Sk'akh. Anyone that dies having followed the path laid out by Juzida can be redeemed and embraced by Sk'akh, joining them in the afterlife. Those that die failing in their duties to resist temptation and vice remained damned, forced to reincarnate into a new body. However, some souls can become completely overtaken by daemonic influence through temptation and vice, causing them to become literal daemons in the afterlife. These particularly damned souls prey on the living, filling them with the temptation to create even more of their kind.
''“These blasphemers can run off into the Wasteland if they like. If they want to abandon their work and their homes to follow a madman, then Bahard has no need for them. Leaves more food to go around those who are actually willing to help keep our city alive.”''

Relationships in general are touched on heavily by Si'akh. He completely throws out the orthodox definitions of relationships of being a mix of Duty, Love, and Lust, saying that relationships are a question of duty and duty only. Marriages are framed in a survival sense, with new generations of hatchlings being reincarnated souls of the Damned unable to join Sk'akh. As a result, the only type of marriage Si’akh recognizes is one which can bear hatchlings. These 'second try' souls must be raised to participate in Si'akh's grand vision in order to achieve salvation. Notably, Si'akh forbids divorce and demands that any relationship be a lifelong act of monogamy.
To the north, Lord Izaku of Mudki seemed dismissive of the Si’akh gathering. While his full statement has been cut for brevity and public decency, he scoffed at the ''“gathering of heretical rabble”'' and stated that any Si’akhist who came within sight of Mudki would ''“quickly find themselves swinging from the gallows”.''

=== Si'akh and Gender ===
For now, Ren’zsar and his crew have been sent to tail the migrants in order to keep an eye on what the heretics are up to. Sinta Articles will keep you all updated as the situation develops.
Si’akh understanding of gender broadly mirrors Sk’akh, though with less of a focus on meditations of the Great Spirit. Si’akh ceremonies of gender transition focus on cleansing sins of the flesh, and being reborn from the purifying and burning love of the Prophet - though these ceremonies, contrary to popular rumour, do not involve setting anyone on fire. As for the Prophet Si’akh himself, while he generally identifies as a warrior his followers view him as something greater - having transcended mortal concepts of gender by Sk’akh’s divine grace, being all and none at once. In emulation of this, many Fire Priests will burn relics of their former lives in a symbolic incineration of gender, claiming themselves as vessels of the Prophet’s will untouched by mortal constructs. To those outside the faith, this is generally viewed as the typical madness that the radical religion inspires in its devotees.

=== Reavers of the Flame ===
</div></div>
Being situated in the incredibly dangerous Wasteland, and coupled with ruthless oppression from the Maraziite Order, Si'akh early in his days as messiah created a fanatical militant holy order answerable only to him. Its members are called Reavers, and they are charged with the protection of Si'akh and all of his followers. Based in Wasteland forts, they guard pilgrims who travel for miles to follow the traveling Si'akh, sheltering them from bandits. They are frequently attacked by explorers and mercenaries hired by the Hegemony, and have taken to arming their troop with a mix of Contact War era weaponry and crude ballistic weapons to defend themselves. Using welders, Reavers are required to burn off their horns when joining the Order, giving them a strange appearance compared to typical Unathi. Joining the Order is a fast track to salvation.

Reavers of the Flame have taken an almost barbaric stance on self-defense in the name of their savior. Where called for, they are merciless, unafraid to use ambushes and underhanded tactics to gain the upper hand. They give those that attack them and the followers of Si’akh a ruthless choice: join the flock or die in the sands. Given that they must reincarnate if they are not saved, Si’akh has not given any dismay or disappointment at this development among the Reavers; however, he has been known to occasionally step in, offer his blessings, and perform a rumored miracle to convince bandits to join his cause.

In a sort of twisted means of reverence, those that follow Si’akh make a grand display and festival of the day the first atomic weapons were used in the Contact War. On September 5th of each year, Si’akh’s followers make a grand display of thanking Sk’akh for the war. Those outside of the faith will view it as a disturbing celebration of one of the worst modern catastrophes in Unathi history; those of Si’akh’s devout know it is celebrating the Unathi that were deemed worthy by Sk’akh and went to join them in eternal paradise. Originally intended to be a day of religious importance on Moghes and in the Wasteland, people who cannot make the pilgrimage to the Wasteland can do it wherever they are. These practices were gleaned from Si’akh’s routine and instructions to his first followers on this day.

The start of the day is a rigorous one. When celebrating the holiday, someone must be awake before the sun rises— this is being mentally awake, too, so typically, this is very early in the morning, even by autumn standards. The day begins with a rigorous prayer to Sk’akh and an admission of guilt and sin. Verbal recognition is made that the worshiper is unworthy of Sk’akh’s generous gifts and even the fraction of a chance to be redeemed offered by Si’akh. After completing this and whatever other rituals and prayers a devotee personalizes, they gather their daily things: a bag of jerky and two gallons of water. The day and subsequent week is one of fasting, without even water barring specific times every other day. Even then, Si’akh’s followers are permitted only two gallons of water for the week, regardless of individual need. The jerky and the water at the end of the week are burned and dumped, respectively, were one successful in not consuming them.

Typically, followers meet up with others for celebration. At this "celebration," there is no food, no drink, no usual luxuries found at other parties, and this meeting resembles more of a Sk’akh day of sermons than anything else. However, even by any religion’s standards, this mass is remarkably grim. The firebrand sermon is given, though only after being preluded by a romanticization of the events of the Contact War. A sense of longing is made clear by the priest and those listening to them; particularly dark speeches will openly pine for the death so many were granted when faced with atomic annihilation.
'''Editors : RustingWithYou'''

When the sermon is over, things begin to liven up marginally. There are performances of "flaming foxtrots," elaborate dances between two fighters with their weapons ignited. They can be Reavers of the Flame or other warriors, but Reavers are accustomed to this method of fighting. They do this in the Wasteland by drenching their blades in oil, then getting friction with the hot sand with a couple of stabbing motions into the gravel to ignite it. Nonetheless, the displays are brilliant and terrifying, with some of them ending in light to moderate burns for either performer. Such simple displays of energy and passion for the religion are seen not as luxuries, but as proof of one’s vigor, belief, and hope in purifying the Sinta species. Other exchanges are made between casual attendees, whether confessions to those close to them or encouraging each other to continue down the path Si’akh has trotted before them.
28/12/2465

The Fire Priests are stolen away for much of the event to attend to the individual confessions and help encourage people down the path of salvation. Should someone’s sins in a confession prove to be great, the Fire Priests will begin a ritual: the Purifying Immolation. The specifics of the event are shrouded in mystery due to all Si’akh followers being sworn to secrecy about it. Despite this, rumors have begun to circulate that includes scarification or mutilation of some kind, or even flogging. None of this has been proven true by any authority due to the niche cult’s insular behaviors outside of proselytizing.
Si'akh's followers begin to gather near the edge of the Queendom of Szek-Hakh.
<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

At the day’s end, the ritual of sunset looks similar to the one performed at sunrise, with one major detail: the end is a question of asking for Sk’akh’s forgiveness, so one may join them in the Beastlands after the ordeal is done. Some have said they received prophetic dreams the night of from Sk’akh’s xzarak and have been redeemed. However, the only true way of knowing will be in death.
It has been 11 days Szek Ren’zsar has been instructed to tail the Si’akh migration from Res’karum. Ren’zsar has reported that his crew has reached their destination: the Queendom of Sezk-Hakh. This comes as a shock to the Sinta Articles, as Queen Sezk-Hakh has positioned herself in the past as a staunch ally of the Hegemon, and her harboring of the largest cult leader stands in stark contrast to her past demonstrations of loyalty to the Izweski. Senior correspondent Szek Ren’zsar has compiled a few statements from the heretics themselves:

''“Si’akh has given me and my clan better opportunities than the Hegemon ever has.”'' said one follower, ''“He has revealed how the Hegemon has failed us. He has sold us out to alien corporations and feeds into his own greed. It has corrupted his soul too far.”''

''“Si’akh wants to preserve our souls. People look at him as if he is some [expletive] Aut’akh psycho.”'' said a now-impoverished noble, ''“All he has ever wanted was to redeem us from our own damnation, to see Moghes whole again.”''

''“This was a lake, once. Look, over there. You can see the bones of the skyscrapers, the city that was once here,”'' said a former Sk’akh priestess, ''“And you call the Prophet Si’akh mad? Madness is burning your own world, all over who gets to be king of the ashes. We have damned ourselves, my friend - but the Great Spirit has granted us a chance at redemption.”''

''“Just doesn’t seem right to me. My clan lived in the Zazalais for three hundred years, digging up silver and sending it off to Res’karum.”'' said a disgruntled guildsman, ''“Now the rivers dry up, the fish die, and my clan starves. I turn on the news and what do I see? Not’zar Izweski’s wedding feast. Why should I listen to soft-scaled princelings in their castles? What have they ever done for me? They say Si’akh’s mad, and maybe he is - but he knows what’s wrong with the world, and he means to fix it. Could do a lot worse, all I’m saying.”''

After our previous article, a few cities took a closer look at the Sinta departing from their lands. Baandr, Bahard, Sahltyr and Darakath have all reported numerous Sinta departures from their lands. It is apparent that these departures have, for the most part, been an effort to congregate thousands of Si’akh sympathizers in the Queendom for Si’akh to make an announcement regarding his heresy. As the announcement is scheduled for tomorrow, we will bring you a live update provided our correspondent is allowed in the meeting hall.

Si'akh makes his plans known, departing Moghes to bring his promises of salvation to offworld Unathi.
<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

Breaking news from the Queendom of Sezk-Hakh!

Juzida Si’akh has just announced his intent to travel to Ouerea in an attempt to, in his words, ''“Save the souls of our direct neighbors. The redeemable few that have stayed within [Uueoa-Esa].”'' During his announcement today, Si’akh told senior correspondent Ren’zsar that he will bring him and his team personally on the vessel transporting him to Ouerea. The planned destination is Um'a'yid, as Si’akh wishes to convert the lowly peasants to his heretical cause.

Below is the transcript of Si’akh’s broadcast:

[Cheers, applause, tail stomping can be heard as Si’akh approaches the podium. He places his walking stick against the podium and leans in to speak, softly at first.]

''“Wastelanders. Heartlanders. Southlanders. Prairie Clans, Coalitioners. Mountain Clans. Those of the Torn Cities. There are many ethnic identities that we may claim to be. There are many differences between these peoples. Strife has been ever-present throughout our history. There is, however, one thing that we all share: Our home. Moghes has tended to us, to our ancestors, and hopefully to our descendants."''

[Si’akh pauses for a few moments to examine the crowd. As he resumes speaking, he has a much angrier tone.]

''“I have heard whispers, among the faithful. Talk of the aliens, of Hephaestus Industries, blaming them for the ills of our world. It is an easy path to take, but it is not truth. Look around you! See the divine judgment of Sk’akh, see the ashes our once-beautiful world lies in! What hands wrought this doom upon us? Not alien hands, nor the hands of their corporations. Hephaestus is a nest of vipers, driven by wanton greed - but are they distinct in this? When Yukal T’zakal feasts as the Wasteland starves, is that somehow more wicked than when Not’zar Izweski does the same?”''

[Many jeers and loud tail stomping can be heard from the crowd. It lasts long enough that Si’akh takes a pause to listen. He resumes his soft-spoken initial tone.]

''“We are all of us to blame, for the ruin of Moghes. Yes, even I! I was a sinful man, who coveted wealth and power - was I alone in this? No. Moghes is ruled by the negligent and corrupt, those who call themselves lords, as it has ever been. It is our own sin, our own greed, our own abandonment of Sk’akh’s truth. That is what has led our world to damnation!”''

[Si’akh slams his fist onto the podium as he says “damnation” His tone shifts to an angry yelling once more.]

''“The Great Spirit has opened my eyes, my friends! Opened my eyes to the truth! For thousands of years we have been mired in faithlessness and corruption, until it left our world itself sundered and bleeding! But there is hope, brothers and sisters! For in Their mercy, Sk’akh offers redemption in flame, that we might make of our world the paradise our creator intended! Ask yourselves, each of you - will I stand aside? Will I fall into sin and debauchery, or will I do what is right! I know my answer, but it will take more than me! It will take you, and you, and you! By our own hands, Moghes is damned - and by our hands it shall be saved!”''

[The crowd erupts in a mixture of jeers, cheers and more tail stomping. Dust fills the stage, and while the noise begins to settle, the dust continues to permeate, vision blurred as two figures can be seen walking up, flanking either side of Si’akh, each with a large walking staff. They slam the bases of their staffs into the ground, and the tips of them ignite and through the dust, the flames create an eerie glow. Si’akh cuts the silence with a calm tone.]

''“I am going to leave Moghes to reach out to our brothers and sisters on Ouerea.”''

[Murmurs can be heard throughout the crowd, but they all quiet as Si’akh begins to speak once more.]

''“I will soon return, but if we seek to end the damnation brought upon us, we will need the assistance of our devotees aboard. There are devouts in many places across the Spur, lying in wait for our time. My brothers and sisters in flame - Now is our time. Return to Moghes with me at the culmination of my trip. All the faithful shall witness my proclamation. Secure your next shuttle to the Queendom and join me.”''

[The crowd erupts in cheers once more, and Si’akh grabs his walking stick and turns to leave, flanked by his two fire-bearers.]

Senior correspondent Ren’zsar will keep us updated as soon as the Si’akh presence touches down on Ouerea. As always, trust Sinta Articles for your up-to-date news.

The word of Si'akh begins to take root on Ouerea, as those angry and dissatisfied with the Hegemony flock to his revolutionary words.
<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

Today marks the first time that heretic cult leader Juzida Si’akh has ever been on another planet. He left last week with the intent of reaching Ouerea in order to speak to the peasantry of the planet. Accompanied with merely a small retinue of devotees, including senior correspondent Ren’zsar, his ship touched down just outside of Um'a'yid today. Immediately, Si’akh walked to the docks to speak with a group of fishermen that had shortly before arrived back from a fishing haul. The fishermen seemed surprisingly open to the idea of Si’akh’s presence on their planet, stating that he had seen Si’akh’s broadcast from the Queendom of Sezk-Hakh. The fisherman’s captain was approached after speaking with Si’akh, and was quoted as saying,

''“You know what? At this point, at least it feels like somebody is speaking up for the hatchlings. Not’zar sold us out to humans. Ouerea was supposed to be our planet, and now not only do I have to live alongside a bunch of aliens, I have to work to make them money. Hephaestus comes in and now we all have to work to satisfy their quotas. We all miss the guilds, you know? Maybe Si’akh will at least help us gain some ground back against them.”''

It is clear that the anti-corporate sentiment still plagues Ouerea to this day, despite the good that Hephaestus has done for the planet itself. Whether you believe that the corporations are good for the Hegemony itself, their effects on the Hegemonic economy cannot be denied. Si’akh’s presence on Ouerea serves no goal other than destabilizing what the Hegemon has fought to build and secure for the future of the Hegemony. While he may have just arrived on Ouerea, Si’akh has apparent plans to speak with many Sinta around many cities.

We at Sinta Articles will keep an eye on the situation as it develops. Don’t lose your faith in these trying times. We are all in this together.

Inspired or terrified by the words of Si'akh, religious fighting erupts throughout Unathi communities in the Republic of Biesel.
<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

Recently, religious turmoil has struck the Hegemony as the leader of the alternative sect leader Juzida Si’akh has expanded his influence off Moghes.

On the 28th of December, Si’akh called for Unathi to “Return to Moghes with [him] at the culmination of [his] trip.” This has had a profound impact on Unathi in the Republic of Biesel, with notable Unathi communities in the Republic being affected in various ways.

In some Bieselite communities, we have seen mixed reactions to the expansion of the heretical belief. The Unathi in Mendell City itself have been seen nearly coming to blows, with the group known as the Akhanzi Order attempting to preserve their Th’akh faith by preaching to other communities in the city. This has left them at odds with the Unathi of District 11, some of whom have been seen proclaiming Si’akh’s words, with some even lighting fire to Th’akh flags, seemingly in order to anger the Akhanzi Order specifically. Mendell City’s Tenth and Eleventh district firefighting brigades have been on high alert as a result of the clashing, with the firefighting brigades of Districts Five and Three being ready to aid should fires get much worse. The police force in the area have made several arrests of Si’akh members of District Eleven, with most of them having been responsible for fires across both districts. Despite some cries of religious persecution, Akhanzi Order members have also faced arrests following their assault of a group of Si’akh protesters in district eleven.

Outside of Mendell, communities on Valkyrie have also been up-in-arms. On December 31st, a number of Unathi were arrested after they were witnessed assaulting a number of both Th’akh and Sk’akh churches earlier that day. The criminals infiltrated a number of churches before physically assaulting members of the congregations and lighting flames inside, typically using the pews that were present in the church at the time. These Unathi were swiftly arrested, and though the Tau Ceti Times has reached out, we were unable to obtain a statement from the clan’s representative as to why the action was taken against the churches.

Across Mictlan, Si’akh’s words have impacted working-class Unathi. A number of protests in support of the Si’akh faith were held in Vezdukh. A statement was taken from one of the Unathi protestors during the rally:

''“All most of us want is a way to carve our own path - something I think we really share with a lot of common Sinta on Moghes as well. I think [Si’akh’s] focus on the spirit of all Sinta are what can really unite a lot of us.”''

A number of Th’akh churches in the city have burned down, with some witnesses stating that they witnessed several Unathi throwing what they called fire-bombs at the churches. No arrests were made in connection to this situation, and the investigation remains ongoing. It appears clear to us that the fire motif points to members of the Si’akh faith being behind the incident.

The Mictlani government seems highly concerned about these religious tensions, having just brought an end to one long and bitter conflict. In a joint press conference with Lord Mayor Orbza Izziba of Vezdukh, Prime Minister Ladislao de Santos stated that the situation is entirely under control, and that while the Republic of Mictlan respects the right to freedom of religion those inciting religious violence will be judged under the full extent of the law.

This morning, a number of heretics attempting to cross into Imperial space were apprehended as they were landing in Nova Luxembourg. They were immediately taken to the Nova Luxembourg Jail and questioned by the Tribunal Investigations Constabulary before being swiftly executed. According to a representative from the Royal Guard, those captured were a group of high-ranking Si’akh Fire Priests who were attempting to cause upheaval in the Empire.

Chief Minister of Unathi Affairs Kasz Han’san was quick to respond, and had this to say regarding the situation:

''"Our nature, as Unathi, does not make us any more susceptible to embrace this "Si'akh" heresy. Far from it, in fact, for what the Empire and the Goddess have offered us, for what we owe, we will never turn our backs on them."''

''“I have no doubt that the Unathi in the Empire are and will remain loyal to the Goddess. It is clear that the Hegemon is unable to control his own heresies, and that other nations around the Spur should be on the lookout for these ‘Fire Priests’ lest they face unrest.”

Si'akh returns, bolstered by thousands of the faithful. The deaths of Hegemony citizens anger the powers that be, with threats of economic sanctions being levelled at Dominia.

Today marks the return of heretical cult leader Juzida Si’akh after a trip to Ouerea to spread his anti-corporate, anti-hegemony faith. After a proselytizing trip abroad, Si’akh has returned via shuttle to the Queendom of Sezk-Hakh. His is only the latest shuttle in a series of drop-offs that have seen Sinta from all over the Spur returning to Moghes from abroad, with many coming from the Republic of Biesel itself, evidently answering a call from the cult head himself. Si’akh is reported to have a scheduled announcement tomorrow, which will have live coverage done by Senior Correspondent Szak Ren’zsar and his team.

In related news, the Hegemon has released a statement regarding a number of citizens that were killed by the Empire of Dominia just after they landed on January 13. In his statement, the Hegemon stated:

''“They should have let us extradite the heretics. Killing Hegemony citizens, no matter how heretical they are, is not up to Keeser to decide. The Empire should be ashamed of how their leadership has acted in this situation.”''

When asked if any action will be taken against the Empire, the Hegemon had this to say:

These include a limit on the economic exchange between our nations as well as a complete travel ban on all Imperial citizens. We are looking to remove all Imperial citizens inside the borders of Moghes as well. The Hegemony still stands as a strong economic pathway between the Empire and the rest of the Spur. Heretic Ringleader Judiza Si’akh spotted passing by Res’karum

The Prophet Judiza Si'akh begins to gather his followers in the Wasteland, with thousands of Si'akh faithful flocking to his call.

“With the departure of many of Mudki’s heretical refugees, we are confident that Res’karum will return to its roots. Th’akh teachings have been a staple of Res’karum for as long as Sinta have lived in these mountains, and we will not be swayed by heretical beliefs.”

“Half my workers seem to have run off following this damned fool Si’akh. Azhal’s crown, have they all taken leave of their senses? Some Wasteland vagrant waves a staff around, and they act like the man is some kind of prophet. Winds take them all, how am I meant to fill my quotas now?”

The Si’akhists continue to leave the city, wandering into the Wasteland. Where they are going, or what this so-called prophet has planned, remains unclear to us at this time. The other lords of the region seem to be less concerned about it, with Lord Korhar of Bahard’s High Speaker informing us that:

“These blasphemers can run off into the Wasteland if they like. If they want to abandon their work and their homes to follow a madman, then Bahard has no need for them. Leaves more food to go around those who are actually willing to help keep our city alive.”

To the north, Lord Izaku of Mudki seemed dismissive of the Si’akh gathering. While his full statement has been cut for brevity and public decency, he scoffed at the “gathering of heretical rabble” and stated that any Si’akhist who came within sight of Mudki would “quickly find themselves swinging from the gallows”.

For now, Ren’zsar and his crew have been sent to tail the migrants in order to keep an eye on what the heretics are up to. Sinta Articles will keep you all updated as the situation develops.

Heretic Ringleader Judiza Si’akh In Talks With Queendom?

Si'akh's followers begin to gather near the edge of the Queendom of Szek-Hakh.

“Si’akh has given me and my clan better opportunities than the Hegemon ever has.” said one follower, “He has revealed how the Hegemon has failed us. He has sold us out to alien corporations and feeds into his own greed. It has corrupted his soul too far.”

“Si’akh wants to preserve our souls. People look at him as if he is some [expletive] Aut’akh psycho.” said a now-impoverished noble, “All he has ever wanted was to redeem us from our own damnation, to see Moghes whole again.”

“This was a lake, once. Look, over there. You can see the bones of the skyscrapers, the city that was once here,” said a former Sk’akh priestess, “And you call the Prophet Si’akh mad? Madness is burning your own world, all over who gets to be king of the ashes. We have damned ourselves, my friend - but the Great Spirit has granted us a chance at redemption.”

“Just doesn’t seem right to me. My clan lived in the Zazalais for three hundred years, digging up silver and sending it off to Res’karum.” said a disgruntled guildsman, “Now the rivers dry up, the fish die, and my clan starves. Could do a lot worse, all I’m saying.”

Si’akh Traveling Abroad?! Ouerea Faces Potential Turmoil.

Si'akh makes his plans known, departing Moghes to bring his promises of salvation to offworld Unathi.

Breaking news from the Queendom of Sezk-Hakh!

Juzida Si’akh has just announced his intent to travel to Ouerea in an attempt to, in his words, “Save the souls of our direct neighbors. The redeemable few that have stayed within [Uueoa-Esa].” During his announcement today, Si’akh told senior correspondent Ren’zsar that he will bring him and his team personally on the vessel transporting him to Ouerea.

“Wastelanders. Moghes has tended to us, to our ancestors, and hopefully to our descendants."

[Si’akh pauses for a few moments to examine the crowd. As he resumes speaking, he has a much angrier tone.]

“I have heard whispers, among the faithful. When Yukal T’zakal feasts as the Wasteland starves, is that somehow more wicked than when Not’zar Izweski does the same?”

[Many jeers and loud tail stomping can be heard from the crowd. It lasts long enough that Si’akh takes a pause to listen. He resumes his soft-spoken initial tone.]

“We are all of us to blame, for the ruin of Moghes. That is what has led our world to damnation!”

[Si’akh slams his fist onto the podium as he says “damnation” His tone shifts to an angry yelling once more.]

“The Great Spirit has opened my eyes, my friends! By our own hands, Moghes is damned - and by our hands it shall be saved!”

“I am going to leave Moghes to reach out to our brothers and sisters on Ouerea.”

[Murmurs can be heard throughout the crowd, but they all quiet as Si’akh begins to speak once more.]

“I will soon return, but if we seek to end the damnation brought upon us, we will need the assistance of our devotees aboard. There are devouts in many places across the Spur, lying in wait for our time. My brothers and sisters in flame - Now is our time. Return to Moghes with me at the culmination of my trip. All the faithful shall witness my proclamation. Secure your next shuttle to the Queendom and join me.”

Si’akh Touches Down On Ouerea, Preaches Heresies to Peasants

The word of Si'akh begins to take root on Ouerea, as those angry and dissatisfied with the Hegemony flock to his revolutionary words.

“You know what? At this point, at least it feels like somebody is speaking up for the hatchlings. Not’zar sold us out to humans. Ouerea was supposed to be our planet, and now not only do I have to live alongside a bunch of aliens, I have to work to make them money. Hephaestus comes in and now we all have to work to satisfy their quotas. We all miss the guilds, you know? Maybe Si’akh will at least help us gain some ground back against them.”

Religious Turmoil Strikes Unathi Communities

Inspired or terrified by the words of Si'akh, religious fighting erupts throughout Unathi communities in the Republic of Biesel.
