| In the chaotic aftermath of the Solarian Alliance’s retreat to the Jewel Worlds, much of the now-leaderless territory fell into a state of warlordism, with Solarian Fleets who refused the order to return to Sol setting up states of their own. To the galactic south of the Republic of Biesel lies the Northern Wildlands, the smaller section. Divided up between Southern Solarian Military District and the Solarian Provisional Government, the Southern wildlands is seen as the most stable part of the Wildlands; thanks to the Nrallak Federation's assistance in the destruction of the Southern Fleet Administration, and in reconnecting the capitals of both warlords to Sol proper.
