Like most planets in the Coalition, Assunzione has the authority to create and enforce its own set of laws. Unlike most other planets, though, the crew of the Horizon is intended to be present on the planet. The following page is a guide to Assunzionii law, much like the Corporate Regulations page.
Crevus, unlike most cities, exists in a state of effective anarchy. Ruled by crime families who control both the informal and formal market, alongside the formal and informal government, the city has no true law enforcement left. All that remain are family enforcers who patrol their territories and some neutral zones. As such, there is no formal structure for law enforcement or remediation. Informal law is dependent on the crime family and their relationship to a given corporation. The following page is a guide to Crevan informal law, similarly to the Corporate Regulations page and other Port of Call law pages.

Remember, Assunzione Law Enforcement is not related to the SCC and has little regard for your employment or status. The following laws are separate from the SCC SoP or Regulations, and will be enforced regardless of the situation.
Remember, the local Crime Families hardly care about your employment status, or really about you in general. The only thing holding back their actions are repercussions from Corporate agents and other Crime Families.

Assunzione has a much different culture and history than that of Tau Ceti or the SCC.
Crevus is far different from Tau Ceti, the SCC, or most other cities.
* Police can arrest crew for breaking the law or disturbing the peace regardless of job or status.
* Enforcers are given effective free reign in decision making, be it against the Crew or against other enforcers.
* Weapons and firearms are prohibited in Port Volturno.
* Weapons and firearms are permitted in Crevus.
* Drugs otherwise legal in Biesel are illegal on Assunzione.
* All drugs are legal in Crevus.
* Free Assunzionii IPCs are legally equal to organic citizens, and harming them falls under the same crimes (up to and including murder). Owned IPCs are instead covered under vandalism or damage to property charges.
* All nationalities, origins, etc. can be found in Crevus. No one is prohibited from entering, likewise violence against others is looked down upon. Crevus is not a free zone to take out an opposing group, it's a neutral zone founded upon anarchy. For better or for worse.

Criminal Procedures
Rhan-Cresh Highway Patrol
For every infraction except traffic infringements, non-Assuionzii nationals MUST be taken to the police station for processing, and a report MUST be filled out on the forums (a form is provided under the CCIA Forum topic for this purpose). Should an individual not possess enough credits to afford a fine for any infringement, all available amounts are to be taken and the individual released as per the procedure listed below. The remainder of any unpaid fines will be deducted from paychecks as needed to fulfill the fine.
The Rhan-Cresh Highway Patrol is the closest Crevus gets to law enforcement. This section of the Rhan-Cresh Charities' enforcers are tasked with patrolling Crevus's railways, highways, and spaceports. It's not for altruistic reasons. the Rhan-Cresh organization controls much of the transportation and infrastructure market in Crevus alongside Hephaestus Industries, their main corporate ally. The job of the highway patrol is to clear out bandits and ensure the flow of passengers and travelers stays strong, or else the Rhan-Cresh aligned businesses may start to struggle and bring in less 'donations'.

The following is the procedure for if any of the Horizon's crew is arrested.
A Highway Patrolman stationed in Nikal Sahir mostly cares about the local Hephaestus Suspended Tramway station and the local spaceport. Chief among the duties, keep the local gangs from harassing the spaceport or tram station. Secondarily, ensure the local firearm store pays their required 'donation' to the charities to ensure protection from robberies or harassment. Lastly, keep tourists safe. They are what brings in the money.
Misdemeanours
*The police detain a suspect. They have the option of releasing with a warning.
*The suspect is arrested and brought to the station for processing.
*Any contraband or stolen items are removed.
*The suspect is locked in a cell.
*The police must inform the Horizon of the incident and the identity of the arrested individual.
*A Horizon crew member or Head of Staff must come to the station as a guarantor for the suspect who is then released to their care.
*The police must report the incident on the special forum thread.
*The incident and identity of the person is posted on the police’s social media account.
*CCIA are eligible to start an investigation.

Felonies
Sometimes, mere influence is not enough to deter an ornery ganger, tourist, or even a rival enforcer. It is under the authority of the Highway Patrol that violators are arrested and put into jail for some manner of time. If that fails, force can be used. Zipties, a gun, and a jail cell at your local office are provided to assist in the duties of the patrolman.
*The police must inform the Horizon of the incident and the identity of the arrested individual.
*The suspect remains in the cell for the rest of the round.
*The police must report the incident on the special forum thread.
*CCIA automatically launch an investigation and present their findings to the Assunzionii (or Zeng-Hu) authorities via appropriate CCIA IC messages. The person is eligible to serve jail time in Assunzione, suspending the character for a long period of time or permanently.

Crimes
There is no set list for what counts as a violation, or how long one must sit in jail if they cannot pay the fine. It is up to the patrolman to determine this. Typically, it is best to step in only if it harms the local gun store, Rhan-Cresh influence, the local station and spaceport, or Hephaestus and Idris Incorporate interests.
The following is a table of various crimes on Assunzione, and what they are classified as.

Note: This is does not permit free reign. Egregious abuse of the role will result in administrative action.

Violators
Any crew arrested by the Highway Patrol are kept in a local jail for a short period of time, should they not be able to pay the fine. This only lasts, at worse, a day or 2. The Stellar Corporate Conglomerate cannot, and does not, promise protection for any crew arrested by the Highway Patrol. Given the SCC does not recognize the Rhan-Cresh Highway Patrol as a legal law enforcement organization, there is no recourse or investigation to follow detainment by the Highway Patrol. As such, no thread is required to be posted to CCIA.

Crew arrested as violators will be stuck in a small cell for a small period of time. They may have other crew arrive to pay the fine and release them, however this depends on the Patrolman. After 2 days at maximum, the crew member is released and allowed to return to the Horizon.

Rhan-Cresh Highway Patrol

The Stellar Corporate Conglomerate cannot, and does not, promise protection for any crew arrested by the Highway Patrol.
