The SCCV Horizon begins a new mission to find phoron and secure a brighter tomorrow for the SCC and the status quo. Below is a summary of the arc's events, applicable news articles, and additions. Contents Something Wicked This Way Comes Server Event Host: Fyni 01/01/2468 The Horizon's crew get a new years message... The Horizon's telecomms system is hijacked, causing a mysterious message to get through piggy backing off the SCC's christmas message. The Seeing Eye 01/02/2468 - 07/02/2468 An unknown passenger explores the Horizon. A woman calling herself the "Seeing Eye" explores the Horizon, gathering intel and spreading phoron coins. Eventually, they are connected to a wanted issue and flee the ship via escape pod. The pod is picked up by a mysterious warp capable ship which flees the system before the Horizon can stop it. Agent Saboteur 14/02/2468 - 08/03/2468 A saboteur works in the dark, pursuing an unknown agenda. An agent, living in a crevice in the wall in maintenance, begins a propaganda and sabotage campaign against the Horizon. Revealed to be an agent for the Outer Eyes, they attempt to discourage the Horizon's mission towards the Lemurian Sea. Seven Sinta Server Event Host: Fyni 21/02/2468 The Horizon follows up a distress signal from the SCCV Abyss. The Horizon is informed of it's coming mission into the Lemurian Sea. One of the other ships aiding the mission, the SCCV Abyss has issued a distress signal. Upon arriving at it's location, the Abyss is nowhere to be seen, and her crew are acting strangely. The crew are revealed to be pirates, left behind by the captain responsible for the destruction of the Abyss, the Vengeful Eye aboard the Ashen Prince. They are attempting to deceive the Horizon into aiding their suicidal attack against a Hephaestus outpost guarded by Kataphracts, but are found out. The Horizon eventually aids the Hephaestus outpost and uncovers the fate of the Abyss. Interview with a Pirate 26/02/2468 The Horizon questions the pirates captured in it's previous mission. A questioning of the captured pirates is underway, and several useful snippet of intel are uncovered. Mentions of the Lighthouse and Starlight Lounge leave only more questions as the Outer Eyes saboteur pulls off a daring brig assassination of the captured pirate to silence them. Through a Glass, Darkly Server Event Host: Fyni 08/03/2468 A terrorist attack on the Horizon kills two, and injured almost a dozen more. The saboteur, through a long time Horizon crew member who they have managed to recruit, draws a dozen crew members to holodeck beta, where a hidden bomb detonates, instantly killing two and severely injuring the rest. Espousing their manifesto, demanding the Horizon cease it's mission, the traitor crew member is eventually captured. Life after the Sun 14/04/2468 A cultural delegation from Assunzione has come to prepare the Horizon. A small team come aboard to educate the Horizon about Assunzione, bless the ship for time in the Sea and officially grant permission for it to enter the Sea too. Calm before the Storm Server Event Host: Fyni 19/04/2468 The crew are forced on some shore time before their mission begins. The crew enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Port Volturno, though spies watch their every move.
