Containing shipyards, refineries, commercial zones, Kosmostrelki training grounds, research labs, and residential areas the station has earned the nickname 'the Odin of Adhomai', although the station is much smaller compared to the Biesellite station. Due to its importance, a notable budget of materials and manpower are dedicated to maintaining the aging station, as well as a permanent task force of Orbital Fleet vessels. Additionally, legally all three nations are permitted to visit the station. However, heavy restrictions on movement and constant searches by the Kosmostrelki harass Royalist and Al'mariist vessels utilizing the station.

			The process to become a Surveyor is similar to the Kosmostrelki. Training is shared with the Orbital Navy leading to similar baseline skills across the two fleets. Further training for the Survey Corps is common, especially for those assigned to survey vessels set to explore uncharted space. It is a notable practice for recruiters to source soon-to-graduate scientists and engineers from universities. As the contracts for the Survey Corp are the same as that of the Kosmostrelki, the earliest year a Surveyor could leave the Corps is 2463.

			Life in the Survey Corp is less regimented than its sister fleet. System-bound ships, such as relay tenders or rescue tugs, start their day at the People’s Space Station. Roll call and the daily brief occur before Surveyors are dismissed to their daily tasks. Food and recreation are bound to the People’s Space Station, as such each shift sees frequent visits back to the station for breaks and meals. Survey vessels can spend anywhere from days to months in uncharted space. These survey ships operate in shifts, with each starting at roll call. Strict rationing is utilized to extend their endurance. To balance out morale, better accommodations are provided for the crew, such as improved bunks and exercise facilities.

			With the phoron scarcity in full swing, the Survey Corps has received attention from [[NanoTrasen]]. Being a major exploration agency in the Southern Spur, NanoTrasen has multiple agreements with the Hadiist government to contract out the Corps efforts. For survey data, shares in discovered resources, and exclusive rights over any phoron deposits found, NanoTrasen promises higher priority for fuel and advanced equipment for surveying. This contract has led to a high number of former Surveyors finding work with the corporation, and by extension the SCC, as engineers, scientists, medical professionals, and pilots. Despite the priority for fuel, the Survey Corps still suffers from a shortage of phoron among its survey ships, slowing down operations. As such, the survey fleet is separated between the numerous older warp-based vessels, and the few prized Bluespace-capable vessels. System-bound ships utilize lesser fuels for operation as they have no need to exit the system.
