Tajara not used to human space can find it disrespectful how the use of the personal self is standard. Those acclimated to non-Tajaran patterns of speech rarely take issue with the lack of distinction between public and personal self. Referring to a non-Tajara through informal pronouns is broadly acceptable, however the use of first-person pronouns, the personal self, as a default often takes years in human space and a concerted effort for a Tajara to transition to.
